There was five of us. The food was phenomenal each had something different we love the service. Sante the waiter was on top of this game.. the place has a lot of history we highly recommend
Fabulous wine rec, Rosemary studded of Addis and our pizza (and ponds) was great as were two seafood dishes. Lovely service.
Lonely Planet directed us here and what a great recommendation!!! We ordered the Carpaccio Braesola, the Pinsa funghi e salsiccia, and the Cacio e Pepe pasta. All were amazing!! Lots of international travelers eating at this location but also a fair share of Romans which to me is a good indication of a great place. Would love to come back the next time I'm in town!
Yep, this is the straight up Roman casual-dish cafe I was looking for. It's right on the beaten tourist path but it is legit. Eggplant parmigiana, penne all'arrabiatta and tiramisu were basically the best I've had anywhere. Other patrons from all over including Italians. Service was enthusiastic with a smile. Dinner for two including 20 euro wine and very gold coffee was 70 euros, quite decent. Highly recommended.
